what is Lunaria?

Lunaria is a 2-day workshop for floral designers. We focus on the Colorado market and community but welcome designers from other states as well. Our focus is to create connections, community, and knowledge in a nonjudgmental and open setting where sharing information is guaranteed. The workshop focus is on business topics to ensure our business’ are set up for success and longevity; as well as design education. Sharing the “behind-the-scenes” and hands-on approaches to a handful of installations and designing opportunities. We strive to have an intimate feel by limiting the number of attendees to create a closeness within the venue for everyone.

what is your COVID and/or health policy?

We will follow all local laws and guidelines and CDC recommendations, in regards to our COVID policy during the week of the workshop. As of October 2022, there are no local requirements for masking or vaccinations. If these conditions continue, we will not be masking or asking for vaccination status. Of course, you are welcome to mask if you feel it is in the best interest of your health and safety. Our welcome environment would not question it for one minute.

If you are sick and unable to attend, we will be happy to reserve your registration for a future workshop. Please notify us as soon as you can to open up the seat to another designer.

is this workshop for newer designers?

While newer businesses, designers, and freelancers will benefit from this workshop; we have designed this workshop for those who have at least 3+yrs of business and/or floral experience to refer from. However if you are interested in learning more in depth instruction and hands-on focus then this workshop is for you!

what is included in the workshop cost?

2 days of education with several educators, curated gift bag, breakfast quick-grabs, snacks and drinks throughout the day, lunch for both days, all flowers and mechanics needed for the designs, and more to be announced!

what if I want to bring my employees?

The more the merrier we say! If you would like to bring 1 or more employees, please email Mandy directly - info@mjmdesignsllc.com

what happens in the event of a natural disaster and you’ve already paid for the workshop fee & hotel?

In the event of a pandemic or natural disaster, we would first make attempts to reschedule.  If you are unable to attend on the new date, we would then refund your conference registration fee completely. 

If you choose to stay in a nearby hotel, please make sure you’re familiar with their cancellation policies.
